Guidelines
By clicking the “Contribute” button I confirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
- I am a United States citizen or a permanent resident alien.
- This contribution is not made from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank.
- This contribution is not made from the treasury of an entity or person who is a federal contractor.
- The funds I am donating are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- If under 18: I am contributing knowingly and voluntarily with my own funds.
Legal
You may make contributions of up to $5,000 per calendar year to WEPAC. Contributions to federal PACs and party committees are limited to $65,500 per two-year cycle ($22,800 of which is reserved exclusively for national party committees). Also, an individual may contribute up to $42,700 to all federal candidates per two-year cycle. Therefore, total contributions to federal candidates and committees may not, in the aggregate, exceed $108,200 per two-year cycle.
Federal law requires WePAC to report the name, address, occupation, and employer for each WEPAC contributor who gives more than $200 during each calendar year to the Federal Election Commission.
Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
