Initial Campaigns
WePAC will undertake three initial campaigns:
- Strengthening our numbers. In addition to a membership campaign for WePAC, we will be working with other women’s groups with similar goals on specific campaigns and to build a more effective and powerful political coalition for women.
- Ending the unfair caucus system in Presidential primaries. The caucus system is discriminatory toward single parents and older Americans, the majority of which are women. It is also more susceptible to fraudulent practices. We will never be able to shatter the glass ceiling unless the procedures for choosing nominees for President are fair, open and inclusive.
- Stamping out sexism in political campaigns. During election campaigns, beginning in the Fall 2008, working with women’s organizations to call on politicians, particular Party leaders to speak out when examples of sexism occur on the campaign trail.

Execution/Impact
Approaches to each Campaign:
- PAC Impact (campaign no. 1) WePAC seeks to support woman candidates for elected office through direct PAC contributions to their campaigns. WePAC will strengthen our PAC Impact by creating a coalition of women’s organization and by outreaching to women/groups across the country.
- Legislative Impact (campaign no. 2) WePAC will set forth a legislative agenda on a yearly basis to lobby Congress to end institutional discrimination against women, starting with the unfair Caucus system.
- Training Institute (campaign no. 3) WePAC aims to stamp out sexism through education. WePAC will engage in National Training Institutes to reach out to young leaders across the country. WePAC will also provide training for media and political party leaders to learn to identify and root out sexist practices in campaigns.
